Hi, hello! There’s quite a bit going on and I’m happy to clue you in on what’s new. I recently joined the Scribble app team! The Scribble app helps authors publish their books by providing access to a creative community, opportunities to hire members of one’s publishing team, resources that cover each step of the publishing process, and more. Ultimately, there’s so much information or not enough out there; the app is meant to help authors new and seasoned learn how to publish their way. After all, we all have our own goals and priorities but it helps to have all the options on the table so we can make informed choices.

If you want to see the video version, you can check out this Instagram reel.
I specifically find this app helpful and interesting because I don’t think there’s quite an app like this for modern authors. If we want to know anything about publishing, we go to school, conferences, workshops, or to each other. In my early days, I relied on my community to ensure that I was making informed choices as an indie author.
This app is meant to help authors connect with authors, editors, cover designers, and influencers without having to appeal to some algorithm to be seen and heard.
The app is free to use but paying subscribers have access to more resources. For example, they can add their published works to the Scribble library so they can sell their books from the app.
We’re working on rolling out more features for Scribble app users. But this is a great opportunity to join a relatively young app community and make it yours. If you’re looking for transparency, creativity, and inclusivity, this community is already yours.
It’s just so cool to be serving my fellow authors in a new way.
You may be wondering and yes, I’m juggling quite a few things. I’m still working on The Vindicated Queen, still taking freelance editing/coaching clients, working for Manuscripts LLC, and I’m now on the Scribble App team. I’ve got a lot of stuff going on but at the end of the day, I’m here for the books. I hope with all this experience and work, you can find your way, too.
I can’t wait to see you on the app! If you’re an author or influencer who wants to work with us, we have some opportunities that might fit you and your work. Let’s chat. You can leave a comment or email me at whitney@thescribbleapp.com if you’d like more information.
