Whitney:
I barely met my goals this month, and I’m super happy because of it! I finished Rise of the Storm and I will post a book review very soon. Thank you Christina for a marvelous read!
I mentioned that my goal was to create a vision board, and I did it! Ta-daaa!
The point of this vision board was to capsulate what inspires me as a writer, creator, and person. It was fun to collect quotes and art from other inspiring creators; it’s now the background for my work computer.
It’s already April and I’m currently in the middle of my goal for Camp NaNoWriMo 2016! I’ve been focusing so much on editing Destiny Seeker, that I haven’t given myself time to write. I already have a draft, Speechless, so this time around, I will be writing portions to patch up scenes that need help. I gave myself a soft goal of 10,000 words for this month (a little over 300 words a day) to get me back into this manuscript. I’m really excited to stretch my creativity again.
Goals for April
- Edit 50 pages of Destiny Seeker draft 2
- Read & review an indie book
- Reach my 10,000-word challenge through Camp NaNoWriMo 2016
- Blog once a week
Rewards for April Goals
- Begin purchasing materials for two Star Wars-related cosplay costumes.
- A few purchases from Amazon
- Date with Travesty

Well, it’s been a long and tiring month, with the end of the semester fast approaching. But that end is in sight! I’ll have more time for…well, just about everything by the end of April 🙂

So that’s some of our quick little updates. How about you? What’s in store for you in April?
