Whitney:
Oh boy, it’s been a busy month.
I’ve been more interested in comics lately—Ms Marvel, Lady Thor, Spider Gwen, and The Lumberjanes just to name a few. I got a whole bunch off of Amazon to get my fix thanks to some birthday money.

I’ve also had my head in some cross stitching projects. I’m getting ever so close to opening my Etsy shop. I can tell my close family and friends are excited, but I’m nervous. I want it to be a fun time rather than another stress ball to juggle. I suppose I won’t know unless I try, and like any addiction, I can quit whenever I want to, right?
Goals for August
Well, time to get specific.
I think I either need to write 10,000 words or edit 4 chapters to keep myself on the ball—whichever happens first. The writing group is keeping me on my toes with that.
My goal is to actually be more organized, but also realistic. I want to finish things in an orderly manner so everything gets the proper attention it deserves. And I don’t want to panic or stress out. I often have to remind myself that I’m the only task master here and I can afford to relax, regroup, and do what I can. I’ll let you know next month if I succeed!
Travis:
For my goals, I’m wanting to step up my consistency game, just to make sure I’m writing every day. The bulk of my writing this summer has been aimed at boosting some online communities, but here towards the end of the summer I want to get back to my own work. I should have lots of opportunities to write while I’m at work. Here’s to getting a little farther each day.
People, life is good.
